House Republicans push off Biden impeachment bid for now as hard-right clamors for action
Rep. Lauren Boebert, backed by allies, was able to use House rules to force a snap vote on such a grave constitutional matter. The 219-208 party-line vote sent her resolution to committees for possible consideration, like any other bill. They are under no obligation to do anything. Still, Boebert, R-Colo., argued during debate, “The House is taking historic action.” The episode underscores the hold that the House conservative flank exerts over McCarthy, compelling him to accommodate their hard-right priorities if he wants to stay in power.

House Freedom Caucus faces an internal purge push
Compounding that sentiment: an ugly floor fight this week between Greene and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) over their competing resolutions to impeach President Joe Biden. Greene confirmed a Daily Beast report that she called her Freedom Caucus colleague “a little bitch” on the House floor, telling reporters that the story was “impressively correct.” In an interview following the spat, Boebert demurred when asked where she stands on the Freedom Caucus purge pitch: “If something comes up,” she said, “then we’ll address it.” “It’s really unfortunate that somebody communicated the conversation that took place on the floor” between herself and Greene, Boebert added, “because I was willing to walk away [from] people wanting to stir up unnecessary drama.”

Boebert blasts Dem opponent fundraising off family members performing abortions: ‘Disgusting’
Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., accused her 2024 Democrat opponent of choosing “to fundraise off the killing of innocent babies” after a campaign email touted his family members’ long history in the abortion industry. Adam Frisch, the Democrat vying for the Republican-held Colorado seat next cycle, sent an email blast Saturday, highlighting that members of his family were abortion doctors and labeling Boebert’s pro-life position as “extreme.” Adam’s father, Melvin Frisch, has a decades-long history of work in the abortion industry dating back to the early 1970s, when he served in the Public Health Service on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in northeastern Montana.
Liberal Super PAC files federal lawsuit against Rep. Boebert, claims defamation led to lost revenue
A liberal super PAC and non-profit is claiming multiple media appearances made by Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert in June 2022 constitute defamation. At the time, Boebert was defending accusations that she had two abortions, worked as a paid escort for a period of time, and had previously used methamphetamine; all claims made by the organization now suing her. Those claims were published on a website called, which has been established and run by the American Muckrakers organization. On June 13, 2022, they published the aforementioned claims that they gleaned from previously unnamed sources. Now, in federal court, they are revealing the names of those sources and taking aim at the Republican Congresswoman once again.
